ppticon.JPGPowerPoint

PowerPoint is generally bundled with the Microsoft Office Suite and has been used as a foremost presentation tool, first released in 1990. The 2013 version offers a significantly revised Presenter view in presentation mode. While the audience only sees the presentation itself, the presenter can read notes on split screen which includes a useful clock and a preview of the next slide in the presentation. Various tools are on hand, including a magnifying glass view which allows the targeting of specific sections of the presentation without the need for a virtual laser pointer, though a laser pointer is also an option.
Office Mix. a new add-in three years ago, has everything you need to create and share interactive online lessons. It was retired in the fall of 2017, and is now a part of PowerPoint 2016. Microsoft Photo Story 3 and Microsoft Movie Maker are free applications that provide for the creation of a visual story (show and tell presentation) from digital photos. (Wikipedia)
The file size of each may be smaller than that of a Powerpoint rendering easier uploads to various sights that may have size requirements. Also, the format of each make them viewable to a greater audience, specifically those that don't have Powerpoint, or a Powerpoint viewer on their computers.
